New ways new spec. The warrior Reaver way is back!

Alright guys. I am sure the ones who did follow me there for a little bit. Have known I have been gone for long amount of time. I transferred games there for a little bit. But I came back mainly for the PvP. People should already know it has changed a huge amount. Here is a spec that can handle a 60,000 DPS in PvE and 170,000 DPS AOE, 9,000 DPS in PvP single target/ 12,000 AoE in PvP. Now do note. this is not with the best gear in the game. it is mostly with just PvP gear from boxes that have not even been upgraded. Just runes attached. So I am very positive you will achieve better results.
So in this guide. you will find. my macro'/spec tree/helpful tips/buffs you should use.
Pretty much it will teach you how to use the spec in a very basis level that has already been tested by myself.

Alright so you will want Reaver 54, Warlord 4, and paragon 18.

Since Reaver is almost full. Let me say what you wont put into.

Power Leech Row 4 from bottom will have 0/3
Spasm row 3 will have 0/1 (giving you two points)
Dire Steps row 6 will have 0/1
Lingering shadows row 6 will have 1/2 (increases your DPS done keeping a point in this)

Warlord

Row 1 will have 4 in Soldier's Might

Paragon

Row 1 will have 5 in Teaching of The Five Rings.

Row 2 will have 5 in Weapon Familiarity

Row 3 will have....
3 in Grave of the Five Rings
2 in Devoted Training

Row 4 will have 3 in Flowing Strikes.

For the side you will want.

Enduring Survival, Physiology Proficiency, Energy Reserves, Deliberate Strikes, Power Manipulation

This is the end of your spec layout. Time for 3 Main macros.

(Turn the blade can have a downfall on PvE DPS unless you are paying very close attention. I recommend just turning it off.)


MOVES you do not want to forget during PvP!

Thread the Trees, Locks guy in place.
Sergeant's Order, pulls them too you and breaks cast bars.
Cloak of Death, INVISIBLE...... short period.

As I have stated earlier. This is a very basic guide for a spec that does very heavy hitting. This is why I am not going into further detail. As I do have to fight you guys now ;) I may post videos of how it does later on. Not to sure how serious I will get with the blog again.

? Coming Back ?

Hey guys, I know I have not posted or been on this blog in a while. However I was thinking of maybe coming back to this game. Since I no longer have the time to play MMO's as much. I was thinking I need a free game to play in some down time. So I am asking YOU, if it is a smart move to come back to this game and maybe help out people again with posting things about the game. Or if there was maybe another game that is a FREE or inexpensive game that people have questions about, or just is fun in general. So this time, I am counting on you guys for help. Always appreciate the people who do read this.

GENERAL
* An "I'm Stuck" button has been added to the in-game help menu from the start button tray. You can still use "/stuck".
* Fixed the problem that made the mouse not work at all in experimental Oculus mode.


GUILDS
* Increased the max guild level to 30.
* Added new Sigil versions of each of the guild banners, except Banner of Clairvoyance.
 - These Sigil buffs require all 3 ranks of their respective banners in order to unlock for purchase.
 - The buffs are upgraded versions of the banners which increase their respective stats by a percentage instead of the current flat amounts.
 - They also differ by applying the buff directly to raid members instead of requiring the raid to remain within range of the banners, and do not drop an object on the ground.
 - These buffs have the same duration as the banners, will last through death and follow the same stacking rules as the banners.
 - They require the new Combat Sigil reagent to cast.
* New perk: Renown: Increases notoriety gains by 3/6/9%. Please verify this works as expected.
* Increased the max rank of Regroup to 3.
* Increased the max rank of Rift Extraction to 4.


SOULS

MAGE

CHLOROMANCER
* Living Shell: Fixed an issue that was preventing this ability from generating Charge. It should now generate 9 Charge when used.

STORMCALLER
* Storm Armor: No longer benefits twice from the Warlock's Improved Mage Armor talent.


ROGUE

MARKSMAN
* Static Shot: Cooldown has been increased to 30s.
* Removed PVP reductions/restrictions on Strafe, Sniper Training, Deadeye Shot, and Empowered Shot.


WARRIOR

REAVER
* Fixed an issue where debuffs Decaying Defenses, Septic Wounds, and Vile Affinity could stack multiple times. This debuffs are now limited to one stack on the player/enemy no matter how many Reavers are casting on it.
* Rancid Cleave: Now respects line of sight.
* Plague Bringer: Fixed tooltip to properly reflect the number of additional enemies that can be effected.
* Decaying Defenses: Fixed an issue where fire resists were not being reduced.
* Dire Corruption and Precision Strikes: Fixed an issue where these were not working together. Both should be working as intended now.
* Stumbling Morass snare should no longer stack with other player cast snares.


ZONES

DRAUMHEIM
* Weekly Quest: Spirit of Adventure: Now requires level 60 to accept.
*  Misty Rayne in Flargle Plaza in Draumheim now offers a Daily to complete a random level 65 Chronicle.
* Raid Rift: The Darkest Magic: Decreased the health of the second wave of Rabbits.
* Raid Rift: The Darkest Magic: Increased the cooldown of Lograr’s Lights Out ability to 12 seconds.


DUNGEONS AND INSTANCES

BLOODFIRE STRONGHOLD
* Corrected an issue that was preventing players from zoning in.

MOUNT SHARAX
* Increased the range at which Martrodraum will engage players with his abilities.

TYRANT'S FORGE
* Darth Elevator has been replaced with a teleportation device in Crucia's fight.
* Crucia is no longer immune for 8 seconds after players destroy Storm Capacitors.
* The Tyrant's Bay Tendril will no longer return after Johan has been defeated.
* The cast bar for Johan's ability Overload now correctly displays 15 seconds.
* Fixed a bug where players were able to drop combat during the PUMPKIN encounter.

THE RHEN OF FATE: CHRONICLE
* The protective bubbles that appear during Rage of Storms now despawn two seconds after Rage of Storms end.
* Reduced the damage of the Scoundrel Shootists by 20%.
*  More trash mobs now move away.
* Increased the number of Bloat Gumps to eight per cage.
* Chronogos now allow players to skip past boss vignettes.

THE RHEN OF FATE: SLIVER
* The protective bubbles that appear during Rage of Storms now despawn two seconds after Rage of Storms end.


PVP AND WARFRONTS

BLIGHTED ANTECHAMBER
* Added line of sight blockers to the starting platforms. Players will no longer be able to attack from on top of your starting platform.

GHAR STATION EYN
* Corrected an issue in Ghar Station Eyn where enemies could enter your base.

PORT SCION
* Reduced the point value granted for killing the idols in Port Scion to 100 due to player feedback.

WHITEFALL STEPPES
* Attempting to enter any bases while carrying a Stormstone will reset the Stormstone.


CRAFTING
* Earrings can now be crafted by the Artificer profession!
* Basic Amender recipes have had their cost to acquire from the trainer greatly reduced.
* Uncle Stan's Fishing Derbies in Tempest Bay can now be done by players of Fishing skill greater than 375. This is a temporary measure until new Fishing Derbies are released for high level players.


UI AND SETTINGS
* Fixed a case where target player names would not use the guild color, even though they are in your guild.
* Fixed a display issue for recipes in the favorites tab of the crafting window.


ITEMS
* Fixed an issue with the Icezerker! proc that prevented it from gaining duration for additional Nightmare Tide weapons equipped. It now:
 - Has a 100% chance to build a stack on critical hit, up from 50%.
 - Has a 5 second internal cooldown between triggering stacks.
 - Has build-up stacks that last for 15 seconds, up from 10 seconds.
 - Has a lockout duration of 15 seconds, down from 20 seconds.
 - Has a reduced size of the Icezerker! proc's transformation by 33%.
* The Ancient Glacial Shards proc now more reliably hits up to 5 targets in a line between the caster and their target, when triggered.

NEW RAID: THE TYRANT'S FORGE!
The Tyrant's Forge has accelerated production of all top secret weapons projects. Now players face a race against time to infiltrate and Crucia's new monstrosities before they can be unleashed upon the world. Join together with your friends in this new 20 man raid instance to defeat the Storm Legion super soldier Johan, the deep sea war machine codenamed P.U.M.P.K.I.N, and the murderous masterpiece forged in the image of the Tyrant herself!


GENERAL
* Added text to the looking for group window stating that xp and coin will be rewarded based on dungeon difficulty.
* The Psquid Psychiatry achievement will now trigger if you are in a group.
* Guild Quest: Digging Deeper: This quest will once again give credit for collecting Twisted Artifacts.
* Fixed a bug where guild chat would occasionally vanish for an entire shard.

INQUISITOR
* Unified Theory: Fixed an issue where Unified Theory was awarding stacks of Echoing Concord both when the Unified Theory was applied and when it was consumed.


MAGE

NECROMANCER
* Possession: Temporary Abilities are now on the Global Cooldown. In addition to its other effects, it now reduces the Necromancer's Global Cooldown to 1 second while active.


ROGUE

MARKSMAN
* Free Recoil: Removed VFX.

WARRIOR

LIBERATOR
* Dichotomy of Pain: Now has a 35m range by default.

REAVER
* Fixed an issue where certain abilities had their old tank role aggro multiplier.
* Desecrating Blow: Added "enemies" to the description.
* Dire Corruption: Has been fixed to no longer prevent flag captures or proc effects other than power leech. Should no longer cause Cloak of Death to break.
* Dire Step: Should now function correctly with Shadow Warp.
* Fester: The debuff now says damage instead of Death damage.
* Mind Break: Now properly says the duration is 45s instead of 30s. No longer be purgable from a target, thus allowing Spasm to hit again.
* Renamed the auto attack increase ability for Reaver to Plagued Reach. Description should now state Reaver instead of Tempest.
* Plagued Reach and Electrified Strikes (Tempest) should no longer stack to increase auto attack range to 55m.
* Pestilence: Clarified tooltip to better denote that it is a 1h long term buff.
* Stumbling Morass: Now does not snare those under immunity from movement effects.

WARLORD
* Everything is a Weapon: Tooltip now shows the proper value of 20%.
* Warlord's Focus: Now properly consumed by Piercing Thrust and Wave of Steel.

DRAUMHEIM: RAID RIFT: THE DARKEST MAGIC
* Now drops the appropriate rift loot.
* Shadow Smite can no longer be reflected.
* Fixed an issue that could allow some Rabbits to gain too much HP.
* Fixed an issue that could potentially trigger Greater Evil when interrupting Phantom Pain.

GOBORO REEF
* Instant Adventure objectives in the Gyel Fortress area have been moved outside of the Fortress walls.
* Removed the text reading "Unwalkable" from the ocean floor between Goboro Reef and Tyrant's Throne. Be on the lookout for Skelf hooligans with spray paint and a sense of humor.

TARKEN GLACIER
* Certain Shaghi of Ghadaul Tundra will no longer respawn instantly upon death.
* Omi is being a little more generous these days to those trying to get the "Boxed In" and/or "Thinking Out of the Box" achievements in Tarken Glacier. She is now allowing a bit more time to get the required boxes.


DUNGEONS AND INSTANCES

CHRONICLE: THE RHEN OF FATE
* Reduced the number of times the Drekanoth of Fate summons World Eaters.
* Fixed an issue that could cause Ungolok’s lockout barrier to not reset properly.
* Dimension items obtained through The Rhen of Fate achievements are now bound to account.

CITADEL OF INSANITY
* Corrected an obscure bug that could cause the tank to die after leaving Citadel of Insanity.

MOUNT SHARAX
* Warmaster Ilrath will now attack every 1.5s instead of every 1s. This should dramatically reduce his damage output.
* Fixes numerous bugs with Threngar's encounter reset, added a failsafe to activate phase 4 mechanics at sub-25%.

RETURN TO IRON TOMB
* Realizing his work was done, the Invisible Man packed it up and went home, no longer asking the Ascended to work.


CRAFTING

FORAGING
* Risarian Minim drop rates from Foraging nodes have been increased.


ITEMS
* Fixed an issue that could cause tooltips for item effects to report being more effective than the actual procs. This is a tooltip change only.
* The Frost Reap debuff no longer reduces the enemy's resistances.


UI AND SETTINGS
* Fixed chat linked ability tooltips not having a close button.
* Fixed a problem with players being unable to change loot settings for their group from the player portrait menu.
* Fix the white flickering that could occur when opening the soul tree.
* Fixed problem with trying to craft recipes in the crafting window where you click the recipe link arrow button to go to another recipe.

THREE NEW ZONE EVENTS
Three new zone events have been added!
* The Ravenous Devourer: Fight a ravenous cephalopod that threatens to devour all life in Draumheim!
* Leviathan: Attempt to vanquish the monstrous Akvan that exists between the folds of reality. The mighty Yrlwalach has broken free and threatens Goboro Reef and beyond!
* Aphogglach: The ancient demon Aphogglach has risen from the depths of Nightmare Tide to terrorize the Calceron Sea!


NEW NIGHTMARE RAID RIFT
From beyond the veil of sanity comes the new raid rift The Darkest Magic. Nightmare beings both evil and strange are tearing their way into Draumheim, and only the Ascended can stop the madness before it takes over.


NEW CHRONICLE: THE RHEN OF FATE
Wondering what would become of Finric had you never stepped foot in the planes? Relive the action of the first Nightmare Tide Sliver in a new 2-player The Rhen of Fate Chronicle.


MINION UPDATES
* Minion Adventure cards now have a shuffle button above them that you can use to cycle a new Adventure card. A shuffle can be purchased for either aventurine or credits.
* Minions can now have their stamina recharged through a lightning bolt button on the UI! Each minion can only be recharged once every 24 hours.
* Another minion slot is now available.
* 6 new minions have been added!


DIMENSION UI IMPROVEMENTS
We've given the Dimensions UI some love!
* Personal and guild dimensions how have special permissions that allow you to give permissions to individual characters on a per dimension basis!
* You can now also ban individual characters from your personal or guild dimensions.
* New free movement camera for editing dimensions.
* Improved the +1 UI for visitors.


CRAFTING UI IMPROVEMENTS
We have added a crafting favorites category to the crafting window!
* You can now flag recipes as your favorite from any of your crafting professions and they will all display when you select Favorites from the crafting profession dropdown.
* A new checkbox has been added that takes you to your crafting favorites when right-clicking on crafting workstations if you have a recipe in your favorites that uses that crafting station.


PLANAR ATTUNEMENT LEVEL INCREASE
We've expanded Planar Attunement and added 3 new Nexuses! These are Steam (Fire/Water), Dusk (Life/Death), and Dust (Earth/Water). Each of these require that you have completed all 3 tiers of both the base planes that make them up.


== GAME UPDATE ==

GENERAL
* You can no longer fish while a loot window is open to prevent the loss of loot.
* Fixed Nightmare Tide rare mobs to give kill credit for the appropriate leaderboard category.
* Auction House: The Level and Stack column headers on the Bid tab of the Auction House are no longer reversed.
* Auction House: Fixed problem when creating auction buy orders from crafting recipe chat links.  It should now correctly create a buy order for the recipe and not the item the recipe makes.
* Porticulums at friendly hubs are now unlocked when a player discovers the area near the porticulum - there is no longer a need to talk to the NPC to unlock it!
 - If the porticulum is a part of an unfriendly hub, then players will still need to click on that porticulum master to unlock that porticulum.
 - Players that have already discovered an area containing a porticulum, but have not yet unlocked that porticulum, will still need to talk to the NPC to do so.
* Adjustments have been made to the amount of experience gained while Mentoring and Sidekicking.
 - Mentoring experience gained from kills has been increased.
 - Sidekicking experience gained from kills has been reduced.
* Guild Quests: The following quests no long require targets of specific levels to count for credit, only that they grant experience or favor:
 - War on Many Fronts
 - Battles Old and New
 - Planar Desperation
 - Plagued by the Planes
 - Destroy the Machineborn
 - Upping the Ante
 - Greatest Threats
 - Kill Us Some Guardians
* Fixed a rendering bug that could cause distant objects show up as white.
* Fixed a client combat issue that sometimes caused players to automatically target a dead NPC.


RIFT STORE AND SERVICES
* Molten Thresher Supply Crates are now available on the Store!
* You now have access to your bank within your dimension. Find the Bank Vault item in the RIFT Store within the Dimensions > Interactive section.
* Expert and Raid practice dummies for level 65 have been added to the RIFT Store! Get them now in Dimensions -> Interactive section.
* Hovering over a currency icon on a purchase button in the Store no longer prevents you from clicking it.
* Fixed the skill profession filters in the Store under the Crafting/Reagents category. The toggle button now also works for the skill profession checkboxes.
* The Planar Squirrels are now available in the Trophies section of the Store.
* The Chest O Shinys Dimension item is now available on the Trophies store as requested.


UI AND SETTINGS
* Changing your portrait frame and turning on the portrait rare icon have been moved out of the Options Window, and are now part of the portrait menu you get when you right-click your player portrait.
* The in-game teleport to shard menu will now show a description of the server type after the name for special servers such as Oceanic, RP, and PvP.
* Fixed problem with chat console tabs not being clickable.
* Fixed nameplates being visible through objects with some combinations of render settings.
* Fixed a problem with renaming bank vault 8.
* Bank vault names now allow numbers in them.
* Improved the look of the Planar Focus background UI.
* Fixed /reloadui causing your bagbar icons to disappear.


ARTIFACTS
* Nightmare Tide artifact sets from Fishing and Nightmare Rift now give Nightmare Tide level rewards instead of Storm Legion level rewards.
* The various artifact tracking vials now work more consistently with each other.
* The Normal Tracking vial now lasts 30 minutes and tracks Normal Artifacts ONLY.
* The Twisted Artifact Tracking vial is back and also last 30 minutes. It track ONLY Twisted Artifacts, and also casts a version of either Omen sight or Quantum sight so you can see them.
* The Unstable Tracking vial remains the same and tracks ONLY Unstable Artifacts.
* The Patron Artifact Tracking ability tracks all three types. However, it does NOT automatically cast Omen or Quantum sight. These will need to be cast separately if you want it to track Twisted artifacts.
* Level 61-65 Invasions can now, very rarely, drop artifact items.


EXTRA LIFE DONATORS
* We've begun implementing some of the awards for people who donated to our devs during Extra Life. If you don't see your reward here, rest assured that they're still on their way!
* There is a new Artifact set celebrating some of the heroes from the recent Extra Life event! It is a 17 Artifact set with the required artifacts dropping in every zone, although even the common ones are quite rare.
* Goodwill Ambassador NPCs can now be found in Telara's capital cities!
 - Lady Seralena, Sharpshooter Rhyladri, and Sir Mikko "Killer" Konnat can be found in Epoch Plaza in Meridian.
 - Sir Llewellyn Lionheart, Myrmidon Allizboon and Sister Faerugue can be found on Thontic Row in Sanctum.
 - Sir Stan the Lesser and Lady Emmrin can be found in Plaza Aurentine in Tempest Bay, attending the royal court.



MINIONS
* You can now link your minions to the chat window directly from your Minion Window! All you have to do is have a text input open in the chat window and shift-click on a minion.
* Attanium has been pulled out of the 5 and 6 star rewards for dimension adventures. Instead, it will now be looted alongside said boxes.
* Evil Finric has been renamed to Morid Finric.
* All minions should now have flavor text.
* Adjusted some existing minion flavor text.
* The small minion stamina status tooltip will now show you the time it will take to gain a stamina point if your minion is low on stamina.
* Adventure cards that are part of a chain set will display a chain icon on them.
* The minions window will now show a reminder of the time duration for in-progress and completed claimable adventures.
* You can no longer claim minion rewards while the loot window is open.
* All achievements relating to claiming X adventures should automatically complete for all your characters upon log in.
* Max level minions now have a new frame which replaces the minion leveling bar.


SOULS
* When using a preset that has mastery points spent for you, you can now click ‘spend soul points' to spend your mastery points as you level up.
* Updated some soul descriptions.
* Fixed an issue that could occasionally cause damage from Power Manipulation, Arcane Manipulation, and Energy Manipulation masteries to fizzle on targets at extreme range.


CLERIC

WARDEN
* Soothing Stream: Removed the reference to healing decreasing over time from the buff tooltip.


MAGE

MASTERIES
* Healing Exigency: Now also reduces the cast time of Mass Grave by 100%.
* Healing Exigency: The range increase now also affects the range of the Necromancer's Essence Link.

NECROMANCER
* Has received a sizeable rework! Please see the next post for details.

WARLOCK
* Swift Corruption: Now correctly affects Ethereal abilities as indicated.

PYROMANCER
* Internalize Charge: Now has a 3s cooldown.


ROGUE

PROGRESSION UPDATES
* Various changes to the level 65 gear progression are in progress. These changes are intended to create a smoother and more enjoyable gearing experience for players. Additional changes will be made in upcoming hotfixes.
 - Rebalanced the cost of level 65 gear available on the Store for in game currencies – these are all reductions in cost.

 - Casting Plague Bolt on a target affected by your Corpse Explosion now causes a pulse of damage to up to 5 targets within 7 yards.
 - Enemies who are affected by your Corpse Explosion debuff will trigger the debuff's explosion if they take damage from another Corpse Explosion. This effect can only occur once per application of Corpse Explosion.
 - The Duration on Corpse Explosion has been reduced to 15 seconds, down from 20.
 - The Cooldown on Corpse Explosion has been removed, down from 10 seconds.
 - Corpse Explosion is now restricted to one stack per target for any given Mage.
 - Corpse Pile now gives Corpse Explosion a 50%/100% chance to spread to up to 5 enemies if hit by Grave Rot, in addition to its previous effects.
* Deadly Plague: Now also applies to Corpse Talon.
* Empty the Crypts: The Cooldown has been reduced to 1 minute, and the charge cost has been reduced to 50.
* Essence Link: The spellpower scaling component has been increased by 36%. The internal cooldown on the heal proc has been increased from .5 seconds up to 1 second. The tooltip has been clarified to explicitly state this internal cooldown.
* Improved Soul Purge: Has been reduced to heal 10/20/30% of damage done.
* Last Gasp: No longer re-applies itself to a healed target if that target already has 5 stacks of Last Gasp.
 - Now deals Death damage each time a target receives a heal if that target has 5 stacks of Last Gasp.
* Loyal Minion: Now sacrifices 25% of your pet's health and gives the Mage a shield equal to 15% of the Mage's Max health. The duration of the control immunity effect granted by Loyal Minion has been reduced to 5s.
* Mass Grave: The cooldown has been reduced to 1 minute, and the duration has been reduced to 15 seconds.
* Plague Bolt: Can now trigger the Velocity buff from Elementalist. The spellpower coefficient has been increased by 25%.
* Soul Purge: Now requires only 4 seconds to channel its full effect, and its spellpower scaling coefficient has been increased by 51%.
* Symbiote: Now increases healing from Essence Link by 25% per point.


MARKSMAN UPDATE
* Barbed Shot:
 - Has changed places in the talent tree with Ranged Combat Mastery.
 - Now deals minimal instant damage and applies a 15s bleed afterwards, with no movement required.
 - While bleeding, it increases the chances of the target being critically hit by Marksman channeled abilities by 10%.
* Free Recoil: No longer a short term combat buff. Now a 1h self buff that persists through death. New description is: Rapid Fire Shot consumes a max of 2 Combo Points. Cast time of Deadeye Shot is reduced by 0.5s.
* Decoy: Has been removed.
* New Ability: Calculated Shot: Replaces Decoy. Instant cast, 12s cooldown ranged physical damage. Removes movement buffs provided by Swift Shot and Hasted Shot. If a movement buff is removed, cooldown is set to 0. Awards 1 Combo Point.
* Lightning Fury: Now has a 12s cooldown, with the armor debuff lasting for 30s.
* Ranged Combat Mastery:
 - Has changed places in the talent tree with Barbed Shot.
 - Now a 1hr self buff with a 10s cooldown and 10 energy cost.
 - Increases ranged and channeled damage by 5%.
* Quick Reload: Now a passive that awards a Combo Point every 3s while the Rogue is out of combat.
* Rapid Extrication has been removed. With its removal, all Marksman abilities with cooldowns have had their cooldown timers reduced.
* New Talent: Flawless Precision: Has been added in place of Rapid Extrication. Now increases the damage of Swift Shot, Empowered Shot, Lightning Fury, Sentry Battery and Rapid Fire Shot by 10/20%.
* Sentry Battery: Increased damage done, and lowered the channel time from 4s to 3s.
* Shoot to Kill: Fixed an issue where this ability was not affecting Sentry Battery.

GLACIAL MAW

* The Frozen Akvari are growing restless. After sitting undisturbed for some time they realized freeing themselves was easier than they believed. It is now easier for players to trigger the Akvari XIII achievement.
* The Forgotten Slayer's called by Shigoroth are now more reliable in coming to join the fray!

NIGHTMARE COAST
* Players that descend into madness during the Shade of Akylios should now be able to consistently see the orbs.
* The achievement titled "Nightmare Coast" which claimed to be given by completing the Arak fight without any Manifest Terrors successfully casting Horrific Transformation has been removed, and removed from Conqueror: Nightmare Coast.

RETURN TO IRON TOMB
* The achievement "A Trusty Villain" (defeat Nightmare Ragnoth) is now correctly granted upon defeating nightmare Ragnoth, rather than when completing the "Not in Your Wildest Dreams" achievement (something other than defeat Nightmare Ragnoth).
* Nightmare Ragnoth has gotten a decent amount of exercise lately and as a result he will now chase players faster!

Climb the frozen cliffs of Tarken Glacier, across crevasses to the edge of the cosmos, and confront the Plane of Water's most dangerous avatar: Martrodraum.

NEW AND UPDATED DUNGEONS
New dungeon experiences are live! We've added Gyel Fortress, Citadel of Insanity, and Glacial Maw. These dungeons are sure to provide challenging experiences for characters leveling their way up to 65. And once they're there, each of these dungeons will have an expert mode to tackle, too!

We've updated some classic dungeons, too: try out the new Return to Iron Tomb and Return to Empyrean Core! They're available as expert dungeons once an Ascended reaches level 65.

Once an Ascended hits level 65, new challenges awaits them; including the new solo Chronicle, Shadow From the Beyond! Gain insight on the Tenebreans, a mysterious and powerful race from beyond the stars in this story driven chronicle.


NEW SLIVER: THE RHEN OF FATE
In this sliver realm, the prophesy that Finric turns down a path of evil and enslaves the Plane of Water has come to pass. The Ascended must destroy this version of reality to keep it from affecting their own.


NIGHTMARE RIFTS
From Silverwood and Freemarch to Tarken Glacier, Nightmare Rifts are tearing across Telara, offering progressive challenges that make these rifts fearsome indeed. But with more danger come greater rewards—and Nightmare Rifts are a source of the most epic of planar essences.

Competition for these rifts will be fierce, and a Nightmare Leaderboard tracks the most powerful of Ascended as they do battle against the latest threats to Telara.


TWO NEW RAID RIFTS
The Architects of the Plane of Earth are once again building weapons of planar destruction. The Ascended are called upon to thwart this latest technological threat. Take them out in the Plane Crawler Program!

Magical forces are summoning beings directly into Goboro Reef from a distant and dangerous place; The Sea of Ladon! Without intervention, these monsters will cause destruction across the settled seas.


NEW WARFRONT: GHAR STATION EYN
Contact with Ghar Station Eyn was lost centuries ago. Now, battle to be the first to uncover the secret of its dire numerological research into the fringes of mathematics. In your hands, the Manugo number the researchers discovered could be the key to the cosmological constant. However, if possessed by your enemies, it could rain destruction upon the entire plane of water.

Capture Deadly Numbers and hold them to gain points. Those in control of Deadly Numbers may also further make the number go up by activating Manugo Stations. Beware, however, as the Deadly Numbers will destroy your very soul.


MINIONS!
You've gone on so many adventures for Telarans, it's about time they did some adventuring for you. Minions is a resource-gathering minigame within RIFT. It's themed as a card game: collect minion cards, then pick adventure cards for your minions. The more adventures your minions complete, the better they get at finding loot.

How to Start
Head to the nearest Fanatic of the Ascended and take the quest they have for you. They're located at the following locations:

* Meridian: On the south side of the front ramp of the city
* Sanctum: In Mariel-Taun's Village near the Marriage Coordinator
* Tempest Bay: In the Canals near dimension item vendors
* Atragarian Well: Inside the well, at the end of a short corridor with the crafting NPCs

If you need any help finding them, feel free to talk to any guard in those four locations.

Tips:
* If the Minion window is too large for you,  make it smaller by going to Settings > Interface > Display. There's a UI Scale slider!
* If you'd rather have some peace and quiet, you can mute your Minions by going to Settings > Audio > and uncheck "Accolades Enabled"!


EXPANDED MENTORING

You can now mentor up to play with your high-level friends by sidekicking! To do so, join a party with a higher level player, right click your portrait, and select Sidekicking: Enable. You will then be mentored up to the max level allowed in your current zone.

Mentoring has also received a balancing pass:
* Buffs now cancel when mentoring down. Recast them to get proper mentored values.
* Item procs no longer trigger while mentored down.
* Stat bonuses from Planar Attunement no longer benefit players who mentor below level 50.


NIGHTMARE CRAFTING
You can now reach skill level 450 in all crafting and harvesting professions! Here are the main ways in which it's different:
* There is no wood for crafting in the Plane of Water. Instead, Foragers process the plants they find into a lumber-like material.
* Instead of directly crafting most high-level gear, crafters make Amenders that anyone can use to upgrade their gear. Different types of gear require different Amenders.
* Runecrafters use their own special set of Amenders to upgrade runes.
* Amenders require Attainium Crystal, which you can get from Minions adventures.
* Amenders require Risarian Minim. Once you reach maximum skill in a harvesting profession, you start having a chance to harvest Risarian Minim from the nodes (or NPCs) associated with that profession.
* To level Fishing faster, remember to fish from Schools of Clever Fish, and move on to Tarken Glacier water to reach skill 450.

HEALTH POOL UPDATE
* The goal of these changes is to reduce the disparity between the health pools of tanks and non-tanks.
* Tanks should not lose any health from this change, and may in fact gain a relatively small amount.
*All other builds will notice a very large gain in their health pools.
* All buffs and effects that increase Endurance by a percentage now modify Base Health instead.
 - Base Health is the amount of health your character has without any gear and or spent soul points.
* The amount of health gained at every level has been increased.
* A number of stats have been converted for this new system:
 - All Parry is now Guard.
 - All Deflect is now Block.
 - All toughness is now Hit.
* Additionally, Planar Attunement PVP nodes have also been updated:
 - All Valor nodes are now Endurance nodes.
 - All Vengeance nodes are now Attack Power/Spell Power nodes.


GENERAL
* When teleporting to an Instant Adventure, you should now be facing a reasonable direction, instead of off a big cliff or something.
* Fixed a visual issue when changing faces in the character creator.
* /Chatinfo will now list channel owners last (for ease of reading with well populated channels).
* It is now possible to move forward or backward while swimming up or diving.
* Players now need to be out of combat for at least 5 seconds before making changes to their soul tree.
* Gaining Planar Attunement points will no longer display a Level Up animation. It will instead show a message of how many points you gained in the chat console.
* Notoriety boosts and modifiers are now added together before being applied.
* Fixed an issue with Planar Attunement points resetting too often after changing faction multiple times.


GRAPHICAL OPTIMIZATIONS
* Big changes to shadowing! We've replaced the old Environmental Only/Full Shadows dropdown with Low, Medium, High, and Ultra settings.
* The old "full shadows" setting is the new "low quality" setting, and it goes up from there.
* We've also introduced another series of optimizations to make shadows much faster than they used to be, so check your video settings and see if you can turn it up! Please report any visual artifacts or issues that you encounter.
* Implemented a fix for shadows on NVidia SLI computers.
* Shadows now update properly when the sun moves quickly.


RIFT STORE AND SERVICES
* A new patron benefit! Patrons receive an experience boost to their minions.


 UI AND SETTINGS
* To make room for the new bag slot, we have adjusted the look and layout of the bag bar.
* Minimap location icons related to quests and NPCs will now show a depth arrow. An up arrow will display if the location is above you, and a down arrow will display if the location is below you.
* Removed the gradient from the chat window, so players that want 100% opaque background can now have that. To change this setting, right-click any of your chat tabs and select Settings then change the Background Opacity slider. You will need to repeat this for each of your chat tabs.
* Currency tooltips will display how much more you can earn for the week for currencies that have a weekly earnings limit.
* Fix issue where VFX could stop playing properly after a short loading screen.

CLERIC
* Cleric PVP PA: Retribution is now instant cast.

INQUISITOR
* Echoing Concord: Stacks now appear in their own UI element.
* Bewilder: Increased the duration to 4s.
* Excommunicate: No longer affected by the global cooldown and now also snares the affected enemy by 30% for up to 10s.

* Life and Death Concord: Stacks now reduce the cast time of Bolt of Depravity by 0.2/0.4/0.6s per stack. Maximum stack size is now 4. Adiditonally, will be triggered by damaging Ethereal abilities.
* Perseverance: No longer affected by the global cooldown. Reduced the cooldown and duration to 60s.
* Radical Coalescence:
 - No longer increases damage for 15s, and instead allows Inquisitor channeled abilities to be cast while moving for 10s.
 - Now only resets the cooldown of damaging Inquisitor abilities.
 - Now also grants Fanaticism when cast.
* Spiritual Scrutiny:
 - The armor and resist penetration portion of this ability now correctly affects the secondary damage proc of Sanction Heretic and other similar effects.
 - The global cooldown reduction now affects all Cleric abilities.
 - Now prevents Bolt of Judgment from consuming stacks of Echoing Concord (from Unified Theory).
* Trepidation: Now only breaks on damage after the enemy has received damage equal to 5% of the caster's maximum health.

* Poisons now have a base 50% chance to proc, up from 30%. Since these occur more frequently, the damage and associated effects such as healing have been reduced to compensate.
* Poison Mastery: Now adds 2% Weapon, Attack Power, and Damage to poisons per point spent, down from 6%. Each point increases the proc chance by 10%, up from 6%.
* Debiliating Poison: Has been removed.
* New Ability: Debilitating Dart: Debuffs the target and causes attacks made by the rogue on the target to deal extra water damage, snare them, and sap mana/energy from them for the next 10s. 30s cooldown. 20m range, off the GCD, and does not break stealth.
* Debiliating Dart and Enfeebling Poison have been swapped.
* Heartseeker: Now 3% damage to Assassin abilities and 3% Weapon Damage and Attack Power per point spent.

The Budgies are Back – in Pink!
New Lovely Budgie mounts can be acquired from Limited Edition: Budgie Troves, available on the Rift Store and by completing the achievement Chicken Run! Umbral, Ashen, and Frosty Budgies can be purchased with Bird Seed, obtained from the Limited Edition: Budgie Trove and by completing daily quests in Silverwood, Freemarch, Pelladane, and Cape Jule.

This event starts at 3:30 PM server time on August 21st, and ends at 3:30 PM server time on August 28th!


GENERAL
* Fixed an issue where fishing could be interrupted continuously.


UI AND SETTINGS
* A new way to take beautiful screenshots has been added! By default, Control + P will now take a screenshot with your UI hidden rather than having to hide it manually. You can rebind this ability in the keybindings window.
* Fixed an issue causing faraway objects to be permanently shadowed.
* The main map now works correctly while using the low-quality renderer.


AUCTION HOUSE
* Due to the increased volume of successful auction house sales, we have reduced the deposit costs for both auctions and buy orders of short, medium, and long durations.
* There is now a dropdown selector in the Auction House that will let you specify the default price you want to see for items when you are creating auctions and buy orders. Suggested price will give you a recommended price from our servers and My Last Price will give you the prices you used when you last created an auction with this item.

* Creating an auction with a large deposit now requires player confirmation before it goes through. This also applies to relisting items from an expired auction mail.
* In the Browse and Create tabs of the Auction House, the seller name has been added back in. It displays under the item name.
* Auction Listings and Buy Orders have new durations - 12 hours, 48 hours, and 7 days.
* You can no longer abandon buy orders by transferring to another server.

NEW DUNGEON: NIGHTMARE COAST
The Infinity Gate has been set adrift by a sinister force has sailed across the world to Fortune's Shore with an army of fanatic cultists called themselves the Dream Coven in tow. The city defenses have fallen and now the clock is ticking as the cultists begin a ritual to open a portal to another world. Will the ascended be able to thwart this diabolical plot or will a new age of darkness descend upon Telara? Join together with four other brave Telarans and find out!

The Nightmare Coast is a new 5 man dungeon for players at level 60 that offers powerful new items, quests, challenging new encounters and the answers to the mystery of the Sinister Presence. The entrance can be found in Shimmersand near Fortune’s Shore.


PYROMANCER REBORN
The Pyromancer soul has received a large update. More instant Cinder Burst casts, no more Combust stack management and deadlier Fireballs are just a few of the changes waiting for you. Come check out the updated abilities and talents now available.

REVAMPED AUCTION HOUSE!
The auction house has been overhauled and is now vastly improved!
 * Improved searching
 * Recommended prices
 * Buy individual items from a stack
 * Item previewing
 * Price history
 * Buy orders
 * Relist auctions through your mailbox
 * Search by stats
 * Replaced arbitrary durations of short, medium, and long with real times, such as 23h, 51m
 * Read all about the auction house improvements here!
* NOTE: At this time, there is a 2.5 to 5% listing fee, depending on the duration of the auction. Upon cancellation or expiration, that fee is not refunded. This will be changed in a future patch to the following:
- Short - 12 Hours - 0.75%
- Medium - 48 Hours - 2%
- Long - 168 Hours - 5%

UPGRADED INSPECT
Inspecting gear on other players just got more detailed! You can now tell if an item comes from a mob or an achievement, and which one it is!


ACTION BARS: SHAREABLE ACROSS ROLES
* You can now toggle any of your Secondary Action bars to be shared across all Roles for a character. Open options/interface/action bars and click any of the shared action bar toggles. Action bars that you toggle to shared will keep the same abilities on them when you switch to a different Role.
* The first time you turn on a shared action bar, it will make a copy of the buttons from the bar it is replacing.

GENERAL
* You can now dive while swimming! The default key for this is X. To change this, look for it in the movement portion of the key bindings menu. Sheath weapon, which previously defaulted to X, has been moved to Shift+Z.
* During a celebration, dungeon token increases will now be an overall percentage increase, instead of a chance to receive extra tokens.
* Haters to the left: players can now add people who are offline to their ignore list.
* Players using Cast on Target's Target will now have their auto attack target updated to match their target's target more often.
* Players in Warfronts can no longer queue for Chronicles.
* No longer will you be teleported by a mystery player! When using friend summon on a friend not in your raid, party, or zone, it will properly display your name for them.
* Multi-lingual players wishing to join multi-word official channel names will no longer have to encase the channel name in quotes.  For example, the following should join your server's German language level 30-49 channel: /join Stufe 30-49
* Improve performance for people who keep items on their action bars that they don't have in their bags.
* Abilities in the action bar will now grey out more accurately if the ability can not be cast on the selected target.
* Fixed an issue with some abilities failing to queue when cast from a macro.
* When Rift crashes due to Mumble, we now properly inform the player that mumble crashed.
* New slash commands:
 - /setwaypoint x z – Sets a waypoint on your map with the two specified coordinates.
 - /clearwaypoint – Clears your current waypoint.
* Guild Perks - Fixed an issue with the Planar Knowledge. It should now increase experience as expected.


RIFT STORE AND SERVICES
* Patron Fast Pass will no longer dismount players when activated.
* Added items to the Store that allow players to open random Great Hunt 1-3 and 4-5 rifts, without achievement requirement and at a slightly cheaper price. Note that essences from chests are random and not based on the plane type of the rift.
* Bonus Dungeon Charges Patron ability can now be used if the player is below cap for any dungeon tier, not just max tier.


UI AND SETTINGS
* Stat values in the character sheet dialog no longer change color based on if the stat is buffed/debuffed.
* Key bindings text no longer references Deeps' Depot.
* Players with lots of achievements no longer have to wait quite so long when opening their achievements window.
* We now display more soul presets, improved the sorting within the UI, and added a shortcut to the Rift Store when an expansion soul pack is required.
* Instant cast purges and cleanses will show in the combat log as [person] begins casting [spell].
* Purgeable buffs now show up with a blue border.
* The artifact turn in window no longer auto-closes if you have more artifact sets to turn in.


 GRAPHICS AND RENDERING
* Significant improvements to the shadow code! We've drastically boosted shadow performance – if you had shadows turned off because they were slow, give it another shot.
* Significantly reduce shadow shimmering.
* Improved framerate when not staring directly at the sun. Don't look at the sun, kids.
* The water collision camera now works properly. Additionally, it also now ignores water collision by default.
* Fixed occasional terrain lighting seams.
* Fixed an issue with the incorrect player model appearing briefly during a polymorph transition.
* Fix black flickering rendering errors.


SOULS
* Updated the Flamecaller and Fire Hunter presets to reflect the updated Pyromancer soul.

CLERIC

SENTINEL
* Faith Rewarded:
 - Now has a 1 hour duration and is no longer a toggled buff.
 - It will not persist through death.
* Vigilance:
 - Now has a 1 minute duration.
 - Increased the healing of Vigilance.
* Divine Call: Increased healing done.
* Light of Redemption: Reduced mana cost by 50%.

SHAMAN
* Dauntless Courage: Now increases Spell Power by 2/4/6/8/10%.
* Frozen Wrath: Now only increases the damage of Vengeance of the Winter Storm and no longer affects damage from Vengeance of the Primal North.


MAGE
* Charge now regenerates while out of combat.

ARCHON
* Earthen Barrage, Volcanic Bomb, Spark Shower and Surging Flare are now categorized as Raid Support abilities.

DOMINATOR
* Transference:
 - Updated ability description to correctly indicate that it increases mana costs by 125% and power and energy costs by 50%.
 - This is an ability tooltip update only and does not affect how the ability functions.

PYROMANCER

* Spontaneous Charge: Talent has been removed.
* Static Charge: Updated ability description to indicate it only increases Air and Water damage.
* New Talent: Superconductor:
 - This replaces the Spontaneous Charge talent.
 - Increases the maximum number of Conductive Medium stacks you can have by 1/ 2.
* Voltaic Strength:
 - Now causes Electrified stacks to increase the damage of Stormcaller single target Air and Water abilities by 1/2/3/4/5/6% per stack.
 - Now causes Electrified stacks to increase damage of all other Air and Water abilities by 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3% per stack.
 - Damage bonus from this ability no longer buffs damage procs, such as damage from Lightning Blade or Warlock Armor.
* Living Storm: Stormcallers can no longer have this buff active on multiple targets at once.


ROGUE

NIGHTBLADE
* Ebon Fury: Increased duration by 2s.

TACTICIAN
* Curative Engine: Reduced the healing done in PVP by 50%. PVE remains unchanged.

WARRIOR

PARAGON
* Shifting Blades: Damage reduced to 20/40/60% based on combo points used.

TEMPEST
* Arc:
 - Damage reduced to 20/40/60% based on combo points used.
 - Removed the 50% damage reduction in PVP.


RIFTS AND ZONES

HUNT RIFTS
* Reduced Hunt rift invasion stage timers from 2min to 1.5min.
* Reduced Great Hunt rift invasion stage timer from 5min to 3min.
* Increased the frequency of invasions at higher population levels in both Hunt and Great Hunt rifts.
* Changed the Great Hunt rift boss ability “Burgeoning Power” to apply slightly less damage reduction. However, it now also increases the boss's outgoing damage if not removed by turrets.
* Reduced the weight of upgradeables (turrets) when determining Great Hunt rift invasion strength/quantity.
* Slightly reduced the base damage done by Great Hunt 1-3 bosses.
* Slightly increased the health of the Great Hunt rift population scaling buff.
* Removed the Planarch Quoras flight phase and buffed his damage slightly.

EMPYREAL STRONGHOLDS - DENDROME
* Reduced health and damage of all Empyreal Stronghold mobs and bosses by up to 50%.
* Doubled the chance of rare and epic loot drops from Empyreal Stronghold bosses.
* Reduced the Empyreal Stronghold player population scaling buff.
* Increased Torvan notoriety on Empyreal Stronghold boss kills.
* Added Empyreal Alliance notoriety on Empyreal Stronghold boss kills.
* The summoned Empyreal Mech will cut through the Stronghold's shield faster.


DUNGEONS AND INSTANCES
* Fixed missing geometry in Infinity Gate and Grim Awakening.

BINDINGS OF BLOOD: MAELFORGE
* To account for raid DPS changes with this patch, the cooldown for Dark Cabal has been adjusted from 240 seconds to 210 seconds. The duration has also been increased, from 10 seconds to 12 seconds.
* Burning Convinction now cleanses any effect that it currently blocks from being applied.
* Fusion now occurs less frequently, and also uses the correct damage calculation type.

FROZEN TEMPEST
* Artifex Zaviel now enrages more reliably when pulled out of her room.

INFINITY GATE
* Mordan and Viktus:
 - Obsidian Scarabs now attack slower, and don't attack immediately.

PLANEBREAKER BASTION
* Warden Thrax:
 - Chain Gang's damage has been reduced.
 - Greater Tectonic Transference now has a slight delay before it deals AoE damage.
* Inyr'Kta
 - The final silicon Sandstorm when Inyr'Kta uses Shard Swarm for the second time has been removed.

REALM OF TWISTED DREAMS
* Adjusted the luggos in the Realm of Twisted Dreams to be more responsive to approaching players.


 PVP AND WARFRONTS
* Players will no longer be stuck in spirit form if they join Conquest while dead.
* Players who die in warfronts after leveling past the warfront's level cap will no longer be stuck in spirit form.
* Players from PVP shards who were away from home are warned when a teleport returns them home.


ITEMS
* Fixed an issue with the essence Voice of the Undead King. It will now affect pets summoned after equipping the essence.
* The Sands of Time now procs off of damaging Archon Raid Support abilities
